The food looked really nice when it came out, and the presentation was definitely a strong point. You can tell they put effort into making the plates look appealing. That said, while it looked good, the overall experience didn’t quite leave a huge impression on me beyond that.

Roy’s was really easy to get to from my hotel, which I appreciated a lot. Parking was simple too, so it didn’t turn into one of those annoying trips where you’re circling forever.

It feels like a good place to meet up with people after work or before heading out for the night. The area did get a little busy later on, so that’s the only reason I’d hold back from giving it a full 5, but overall it worked out really well for us

The food was okay, but honestly... the table setup kind of took away from the experience for me. Our table felt cramped and a little wobbly, and the chairs weren’t comfortable after, like, 20 minutes. It’s hard to really relax and enjoy dinner when you keep having to shift around. The staff were nice though, so... that was a plus

I went to Roy’s with a gluten and dairy thing, and they were really great about it. The server checked with the kitchen and was super easygoing, didn’t make me feel like I was being annoying or anything. The food still tasted really good too, something about it just felt like they actually cared. I’d definitely go back.

I liked that the prices were right there before I ordered. I was going to say there were no surprises, actually, yeah, there really weren’t any weird charges on the bill, which I appreciated. It might be a little pricey, but at least they’re upfront about it.

We had to wait longer than expected for our drinks, which was frustrating, especially since the cocktails ended up being just okay. A couple tasted alright, but others were kind of flat and not really worth the wait

I went here for dinner a little while back, I want to say it was maybe a Friday night, or possibly the weekend before, I can’t totally remember. Either way, the vibe was really nice. It felt calm but still had enough energy to make it feel like a good night out. The lighting was cozy, and the whole place had a relaxed feel to it. It did get a bit loud here and there, so it wasn’t perfect, but overall I really enjoyed the atmosphere.

I was really happy with how attentive the staff were. They checked on us often without being overbearing, and it made us feel cared for the whole time.

Had a really good dinner here. The courses came out at a nice pace, like not too fast where you feel like they’re pushing you out, but not so slow that you’re just sitting there wondering what’s going on. It all just kind of worked and made the meal feel easy. I’d definitely go back.

I went in really wanting a medium rare steak, but it came out more like medium. The flavor was decent, just not quite what I was hoping for. I’ll admit I felt a little pressured not to say anything since the server was nice and things seemed busy, so I just went with it. Overall, kind of a mixed experience.

I went to Roy’s and had that instant “wait, I want everything” reaction when I opened the menu. There were way more options than I expected, seafood, sushi, steaks, lighter dishes, all of it. Everyone at our table found something quickly, but I kept going back and forth because so much sounded good. Definitely not just the same boring stuff you see everywhere. I’d go back for sure.

I went to Roy’s last weekend, or maybe it was the weekend before — my days are kind of blending together, but I remember the food tasting really fresh. The fish didn’t have that weird old freezer taste, which I always notice, and the veggies were crisp instead of soggy.

I also had a salad, and that was surprisingly good too. It actually tasted like the ingredients hadn’t just been sitting around all day, or however long salads usually sit in restaurant fridges. Portions were decent as well, nothing huge but definitely enough.
The only reason I’d give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the wait felt a little long. I can’t remember if we waited 20 minutes or closer to 40, but it was enough that I noticed. Still, it was a solid meal and I’d go back.
